Thokchom Romen, an Arambai Tenggol leader of the Ccpur unit was arrested on 18th September, 2025 by the police and security forces at Bishnupur district of Manipur where the ambush of Assam Rifles takes place. Following his arrest the meitei women folk stormed the streets and blocked the movement of security forces on the 19th of September, 2025. Then, the Assam Rifles were ambushed by Meitei armed groups. However, a viral video shows Korounganba Khuman, the C-in-C of Arambai Tenggol, present in Kangvai shortly after the #AngloKukiWar Centenary Gate at Leisang was set on fire.
