This is insane: today the Caproni Ca.3 replica, the world’s only WWI bomber in flight conditions, flew in formation with an Aeronautica Militare F-35B over Istrana (the HH.101 you can see was carrying the ItAF photographers).

The moment the F-35B crashed on takeoff from Kirtland AFB, NM, was caught on camera by Alex McCready (Alex McCready) who shared the live photos with us. We can see the pilot ejecting as the aircraft was extremely low. After the ejection the F-35B continued to fly before crashing. You can read the story we’ve already published here:

Insane footage coming from Ukraine today. First clip you can find shows a Russian Shahed drone striking the center of Lviv. Then, one of a Russian long-range one-way attack drone is gunned down with a firearm by a Ukrainian serviceman flying aboard a Yak-52 trainer aircraft. The first scene shows the most modern way of waging war: with one-way attack drones. The other shows World War I-style tactics being used to counter them in the air. Crazy. N100BD (MSN 70234), demonstrator for the Bombardier Global 8000, during its display at #FIA2026. The demo was very impressive. It is certified to Mach 0.95 but during testing it reached Mach 1.2. Would not be surprised if some forces pick it up.
