Perez got disoriented in dense fog, passed out at the controls, and regained consciousness flying far off course over the open ocean, with his fuel levels mysteriously inconsistent for the distance he had traveled. While in a trance-like state, he began speaking over the radio in a robotic, mechanical voice, channeling messages from non-human entities. They issued a direct warning that humans are the only intelligent species in the universe still engaged in warfare and nuclear threats. If it doesn’t stop, “someone is going to step in” to prevent extermination. The full transmission stated: "We come from another world. We are observing you.
