The backers include some of the biggest names in politics and business, like Laurene Powell Jobs, the widow of Steve Jobs, and Governor J.B. Pritzker. There’s just a few problems—Olivia Reingold found more than two dozen instances of violence interrupters getting arrested, including a murder charge.
