Michael Oliver believes the precious-metals correction is over and sees the next major leg higher beginning soon. He expects gold to roughly double into the first quarter of 2027, potentially as early as January, while silver could rise toward $180. He sees the developing bond and government debt crisis as a major catalyst that could push capital toward gold, silver and mining stocks.

You just can't own enough Copper. Billionaire Robert Friedland sums it up perfectly..... You people have no idea whatsoever what we’re facing. “We’re consuming 30m tonnes of copper a year. Only 4m tonnes of which is recycled. That means to maintain 3% GDP growth, with no electrification, we have to mine the same amount of copper in the next 18 years as we mined in the last 10,000 years, combined. In the next 18 years, I’ve got to mine the same amount of copper as we mined the last 10,000 years. This is without any new electrification, without data centers, without solar and wind and the greening of the world economy. You people have no idea whatsoever what we’re facing.”

Rick Rule reveals that his biggest investment winners, delivering 10x, 20x and even 50x returns, required patience and conviction. After backtesting 35 years of his portfolio, he found that his 10-baggers had an average holding period of five years, and almost every one experienced a 50% share-price decline along the way. His key lesson: understanding a company’s value is essential to holding through volatility and potentially accumulating more during sell-offs.

James Rickards believes revaluing U.S. gold reserves could become a powerful monetary tool. He calculates that marking the Treasury’s roughly 8,100 tonnes of gold to around $4,300 an ounce could create about $1 trillion in cash without issuing new debt. He says such a move would also be psychologically very bullish for gold by effectively acknowledging its importance as a monetary asset.

Michael Oliver says the silver pullback should end today or Monday, with support in the mid-$70s. The next move is back to $90, and once that breaks, silver really takes off. The target is still $300 to $500 by late summer, the same way copper and lead exploded when they finally broke out of their decade-long ranges

James Rickards sees silver as historically undervalued relative to gold and believes the gold-to-silver ratio could compress sharply from today’s elevated levels. He points to the long-term historical ratio around 15–16:1 and the 1980 move toward 17:1, arguing that a return toward ratios such as 50:1 or 30:1 could drive substantial upside in physical silver as gold moves higher.

Michael Oliver believes silver is the standout opportunity in precious metals and calls it the “trade of my lifetime.” He argues that silver’s breakout from its 50-year $5–$50 range is only the beginning, with multiple technical comparisons pointing toward roughly $300–$500 silver. His longer-term view is that silver could move to levels investors “can’t even imagine,” potentially overshooting as it catches up with gold and other metals.

Jim Rickards remains firmly bullish on gold and still sees $10,000 as a near-term target, potentially before the end of 2026 or by mid-2027. He points to central-bank buying, flat mine supply and geopolitical uncertainty as key drivers, while viewing the recent move from $5,400 down to $3,900 and back toward $4,500 - $4,700 as a correction within the larger bull market

Andy Schectman agrees with Michael Oliver's call for $500 silver by summer and says it's the most asymmetric trade he's ever seen. China is already trading silver near $100, India and Russia are quietly accumulating, Gulf nations are selling US treasuries to buy gold and silver, and physical silver keeps leaving the COMEX.

Alasdair Macleod sees silver as an immediate squeeze risk, driven by physical metal being withdrawn from the global market and retail investors using silver as the cheaper way into the gold bull market. He believes the move could happen far quicker than many expect, possibly within weeks or months. In his view, the real risk sits in credit markets, while gold and silver remain legal money with no counterparty risk.

Michael Oliver sees silver as the most explosive upside market right now. He argues that if silver simply catches up with gold, copper, steel, lead and zinc relative to their 1980 levels, it could reach around $500 an ounce. In his view, $500 is not even the target, just a reasonable “norm,” with the potential for silver to overshoot after being held too low for decades.

Michael Oliver believes some junior miners trading around $1 could ultimately go to $20 as major producers rush to replenish shrinking reserves through acquisitions. He sees juniors as one of the biggest catch-up trades in the precious metals bull market, with the next breakout potentially beginning this month or next as gold and silver accelerate higher.

Jim Rickards sees gold’s bull market firmly back on track after what he believes was an interim bottom near $3,900. His $10,000 gold target remains intact for around mid-2027, while he also sees silver moving much higher, with roughly $200 an ounce within a year looking reasonable.

Francis Hunt says "somebody with incredibly deep pockets is buying December gold calls at $15,000 and $20,000 strike prices, on an industrial scale" At first I thought this was degenerate gamblers, but now it's looking like people who knew the world was going into a world war.

David Hunter has been calling for a melt up in Gold and Silver for many years and in 2025 his targets were hit. He's now updates his short term targets raising his gold target to $6800 from $5500 & silver to $180 from $125. Long term targets remain $20k gold & $500 Silver.

The Gold predictions keep getting higher and higher. Luke Gromen now predicting Gold to hit up to $25,000. "I think it has to happen over the next 5 to 10 years...Gold has outperformed S&P total return over 1, 2, 5, 10 & 20 year basis. Basically, my entire career, I'd have made more money sitting in gold than in owning the S&P 500.
