About 60 House Republicans joined Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) on a border trip to Eagle Pass, Texas on Wednesday. The trip is just the latest instance of Johnson getting more vocal about the border, which is increasingly looking like a big 2024 focus for the GOP. " And today, we got a first-hand look at the damage and the chaos the border catastrophe is causing and all of our communities. The situation here and across the country is truly unconscionable."
