UPDATE: Analysis of tower audio and map of the airport indicates the aircraft was showing a speed of 114kts or 131mph. JAZZ646 (yellow line) was cleared to land on Runway 4. Truck 1 & Company (green line) requested to cross RW 4 and was authorized to cross by the tower at taxiway D (red circle). Tower then attempts to call Truck 1 and tells them to stop multiple times. The silences and unrelated traffic has been trimmed from this audio, provided by LiveATC.net.

Yesterday, U.S. Air Force C-17A Globemaster III #AE0813 (RCH656) completed the 53rd medical evacuation mission of Operation EPIC FURY, becoming the 19th medevac flight to arrive at Joint Base Andrews for the transfer of wounded personnel to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. The mission marked the fourth medevac flight this week, following increased evacuation activity through Djibouti, Jordan, and two separate pickups in Saudi Arabia. The aircraft was met by a Patient Evacuation Vehicle (PEV), capable of transporting up to 16 critically injured patients in a near-hospital environment, and a Medical Ambulance Bus capable of carrying up to 24 ambulatory patients. Both departed for Walter Reed with emergency lights activated.

USAF C-17A Globemaster III AE144A (RCH898) has completed the 45th medical evacuation mission supporting Operation EPIC FURY, including the 15th to transport casualties to Joint Base Andrews for onward transfer to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Notably, there have now been more medical evacuation missions since the April 8 ceasefire was announced (24) than before it (21). Tonight's arrival was met by 2 Patient Evacuation Vehicles (PEVs), each capable of providing near-hospital care for up to 16 patients. Since these missions began, aircraft arriving at Joint Base Andrews have been met by at least: • 12 Patient Evacuation Vehicles (PEVs) • 5 Medical Ambulance Buses (MABs) • 2 ambulances As of today, official casualty figures stand at 13 killed in action (KIA) and 413 wounded in action (WIA). According to the Department of Defense, the vast majority of those wounded have since returned to duty.

This is total bullshit. WALDO32 did arrive in Key West from Vermont (KBTV), but they never reported to NAS Key West base operations that they were "providing support to five F-35 fighters". The flight was also well above limits for refueling ops. Here's WALDO32's call in to base.

U.S. Air Force C-17A Globemaster III #AE1179 as RCH828 has completed the 49th medical evacuation mission since the start of Operation EPIC FURY, and the 17th to cycle through Joint Base Andrews. After transferring patients at Andrews for movement to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, the aircraft continued to Kelly Field, Texas, for transport to Brooke Army Medical Center, indicating that at least one patient required specialized care beyond Walter Reed's capabilities. Brooke is the Department of Defense's only Level I Trauma Center and verified Burn Center. The aircraft's arrival at Joint Base Andrews was met by one patient evacuation vehicle and one medical ambulance bus, both of which departed for Walter Reed with emergency lights activated. 1/

Today's flight met 1 patient evacuation vehicle, 1 medical ambulance bus and 1 pickup truck that went back to Walter Reed with lights activated. The Andrews flights have met at least 8 PEVs and 6 MABs. Each PEV can transport up to 16 patients while the MAB can transport up to 30.
