🇵🇰 Mere dushman, mere bhai, mere humsaaye: a series of deewani posts on the contradictions that riddle the Indo-Pak relationship. The recent conflict has made it hard to talk of peace. I too must add that this post does not in any way intend to dismiss the loss of innocent human lives or the deep anguish they caused all decent people in general and their families in particular 🙏🏽 Let’s get past the blame game. My limited point is that ultimately the only approach that’ll work is dialogue. I’m not being flighty or naive when I say this. Baat karnay se baat banegi na. The peace imperative is highly practical too. I’m very critical of desi elites. They are generally not a force for good. However, average desi folk like us are essentially emotional creatures - jazbaati log hain hum - pal mein tolaa, pal mein maasha. Thank you for this video Karachi waalay singer. Your radical love is like a blast of fresh air in a haunted home. God’s children ALL 🙏🏽
