None of the fight sequences in the post-Bay films have captured the scale of these metal beings in the way virtually any of Bay's films have done. The TF1 and Bumblebee fights lack much weight or scale due to not using their environments well and having less inspired camerawork

The issue is more often than not, the thing people are criticizing is poor cinematography but laying the blame on the CGI instead. This beautiful sequence from The Matrix Reloaded shows it's age at times but it works because of it's phenomenal direction and cinematography.

Spider-Man 3 probably has my favorite ending in any superhero film. There's something beautiful about this blockbuster trilogy ending not in a triumphant show of extraordinary superpowers but in the embrace of two people who've lost everything trying to give love another chance.

One of the responses I keep getting on my posts related to my critiques on KPDH is that I'm "reaching" for the queer allegory. I did some research and it turns out that what I suspected in the film's subtext was intentional. This film indeed has a poorly done queer allegory.
