The footage shows Peterson-English's head being slammed into the ground causing him to lose consciousness. Witnesses say there was "blood and urine everywhere." Peterson-English described as "troubled" was reportedly acting erratically & antagonising the police before Barret approached & tackled him. Barrett was suspended at the time, however despite the magistrate saying Barrett's actions were ‘not in strict accordance with the manual' - the case was later thrown out. It's reported a confidential settlement was reached out of court that included a gag order preventing Peterson-English speaking about the incident.
