"Horny corny content" to hate on current streamers like this wasn't an average Kai Cenat stream. Like he didn't popularize "gyat". People be trying to rewrite history.

Another example of Drake rewarding loyalty on ICEMAN. Russ has consistently said that Drake is his favorite rapper. And on "ASTALAVISTA," Drake finally gives him his recognition: "And people are overly invested in what happens to Drake, but nobody invested like us / The way things are going up, I might start posting all of my publishing checks like Russ." Drake could finally relate to the level of hate and mischaracterization of someone like Russ, when he was experiencing it firsthand from all the PDF allegations and people wishing such ill will on those around him, even his family and child. From 2017 to 2020, Russ was arguably the most hated rapper. So much so that people were wishing that he had died instead of other rappers when they would pass away. This was a recurring thing. You can look up tweets from back then. Russ would talk about how much pain this caused him. Now, rappers like Smokepurpp (struggling to perform in front of 7 people), Lil Pump (relegated to 6ix9ine territory performing 2017 songs), and all of the other SoundCloud, face-tattooed, Xan-addicted rappers are struggling to have any of their albums stream as much as a Russ single. It's never over.

TikTok is still the greatest gift in music history. This guy has been dropping music for over 6 years and now has a song with over 24M on Spotify in less than 2 months, independently. Some girl makes a TikTok to it, she's popular for her hairstyle(s), it goes boom. A Kurdish rapper from New Zealand named Fat Papi would have never even had a chance of making it before TikTok. If you're good and don't quit it's not a matter of if, but when you have something blow up.

OG Twitter Comedian breaks silence on why he disappeared. DooleyFunny was the first person to blow up on Twitter when they introduced the video feature that allowed for up to 30s recordings. Vine was the only other option at 6 seconds. Dooley, Shiggy, LeanandCuisine, etc would pave the way for figures like Druski to flourish

Looking back ag this and realizing Lil Durk aint pay any of these guys is insane. Putting $1M on that table in cash is like hanging red meat in front of lions.

Soulja Boy was the first rapper to make a hit while playing Fortnite. This freestyle would go viral in 2021 before being turned into a full song and Soulja Boy's highest streamed solo song since with over 35M on Spotify.

The Godfather of IRL streaming turns 32 years old today. In 2016, at the age of 21, Ice Poseidon created modern day IRL streaming. This was via his Pokemon Go stream; using the mobile game as a loophole to stream in real life. On Twitch, non-gaming streams would result in a ban at the time. The setup he used: - Chat open on iPad - Phone to play Pokemon Go - Webcam connected to laptop - Laptop kept open with a paper - Headset to talk into microphone and hear donations

Drake dropped a major diss people are sleeping on. On Janice STFU he raps: "Swear my label gotta free me, baby Ayy, buried alive, somеone come dig me up If I call up your shawty right now, shе pickin' up, yeah You boys got big off my name, that's big enough" I think this whole thing is a double entendre, talking about ASAP Rocky and Kendrick Lamar, but also his record label. Them boys got big off of his name, Universal. But 10 years ago he dropped the song Sneakin' with 21 Savage. On Sneakin' he raps: "Plus I never met nobody from my label, nigga I just pop up with the music then they pay a nigga (Yeah)" He shoots the Janice STFU music video with a similar style coat that he did in the "Sneakin'" music video, in a similar resolution with the square, not the wide, and also the theme is a car garage. Most of the other music videos for this new album are filmed wide. Sneakin' was also when he gave 21 Savage a red Ferrari as a gift. On top of that, Universal has been taking down anybody who posts the Janice "STFU" music video clips for copyright here on X.

Chief Keef bumpin Lil Durk music, circa 2011. This was filmed by DJ Kenn at his studio. He was the Japanese guy who discovered Chief Keef at 14 and gave him a place to record. He was a staple in the development of the Chicago drill music scene and filmed many of Keef's early music videos like "3 Hunna" and "John Madden".

The only cockblock allowed. When Lil Uzi Vert pulled Wiz Khalifa away from a woman while he was performing XO Tour Llif3 at an Oscar's afterparty in 2023. This is like a proud father son moment for the fans that remember Wiz Khalifa being the first major tour for Uzi in 2015 (Boys of Zummer Tour w/Fall Out Boy). Then he was the first major artist featured on Uzi's first tape "Luv Is Rage", now he's right beside him with his biggest hit. (No, Young Thug was not a major artist in 2015)

Drake took this exact playbook from Ye and is running it 10 years later. And these old farts haven't learned a thing. There's a reason why Ye is the ONLY rappers at his age that still has a chokehold on the youth.
