In cities, buses are ignored. In Tummun, Karsog (Mandi), villagers celebrate a bus with ribbon-cutting and flower garlands 💐 Why? Because it’s the first time an HRTC bus has reached their village. In the hills, connectivity is celebration. That’s why HRTC isn’t just transport — it’s the lifeline of Himachal. 💚

✨ India doesn’t have a shortage of football talent—what it often lacks is consistent encouragement and support for those who dream big. ⚽️ Minerva Academy FC’s U-14 squad has just proved that on the international stage, becoming the Helsinki Cup 2026 Champions after an extraordinary campaign in one of Europe’s biggest youth tournaments. 👏🏼 Over 50 goals scored, multiple dominant wins, and a 1-0 victory over hosts and defending champions HJK Helsinki in the final. A proud moment for Indian football. 🏆 🇮🇳

MOBILE PHONES SHOULD BE RESTRICTED INSIDE SACRED SPACES. 📵 A video of people dancing and filming a reel in the courtyard of Kedarnath Dham is going viral. Just imagine the same place through the eyes of a devotee who has travelled hundreds of kilometres, waited for hours and finally reached Kedarnath with one thought — Darshan. 🙏🏼 Maybe that is where we need to draw the line. Faith deserves better. 😐

Sometimes, you witness something that defies every possibility of survival—and you can’t help but believe that some higher power was holding it together. Maybe that’s what people call a miracle. In Nepal, they call it Pashupatinath’s grace. 🕉️🙏🏼

⚠️ Two Indian dams are being dragged into the Nepal flood panic — and both claims are misleading. ▪️Bhatghar (Lloyd Dam), Pune, Maharashtra: A British-era masonry gravity dam on the Yelwandi River. It reached full capacity around Aug 2–3 after heavy Western Ghats monsoon rainfall. Controlled releases into the Nira are part of its normal operation. ▪️Bhakra Dam, Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh: A massive concrete gravity dam on the Sutlej, creating Gobind Sagar and managed by BBMB. Reported slight movement under reservoir load is elastic deflection — not evidence of a dangerous crack or imminent failure. Check the facts before sharing and avoid amplifying claims that may create unnecessary concern or confusion. 🙌🏼

Weekend and summer rush have significantly increased vehicle movement in the hills, making driving even more challenging on roads like this 🎥 near Kinnaur Gate. Even regions like Spiti Valley are witnessing growing crowding during peak travel periods.

SHOCKING INCIDENT!! 🚨 Near Salasi, Hamirpur, drunk men stopped a private bus at 4 a.m., broke its windows and assaulted passengers. They fled from the scene and later crashed into a truck. A girl from the bus was critically injured. ❌ Zero tolerance for such lawlessness. Action must follow.

The Darjeeling toy train runs on its tracks, but are we giving it enough space? 🚂 When roads run alongside railway tracks, a little caution and civic sense can prevent accidents. 📍 Darjeeling, West Bengal.

📍 Chamba — A family travelling in their vehicle noticed a biker struggling for his life, stuck at the edge of the road with his bike, and immediately stepped in to help. The video is reportedly from the Banikhet side. The monsoon in the hills can turn dangerous within moments. A routine journey can suddenly become a fight for survival. 🙌🏼

After Chitkara University yesterday, now it’s Lovely Professional University in Punjab. Late Saturday night, rumours about a female student allegedly being ræ_ped or dying by suicide triggered a large student protest at LPU, Phagwara. The situation reportedly escalated into vandalism, fires and a highway blockade. Police have said they found no evidence supporting the rape or suicide claims, while LPU has called the circulating allegations false and fabricated. Two major university campuses in two days — and in both cases, unverified information appears to have played a major role in escalating tensions. Serious allegations need investigation. Rumours should never become a reason for violence. 🙌🏼

At the Disha meeting in Mandi, the MP Kangana Ranaut reportedly questioned officials over the delay in spending the MP fund. Honestly, this is the kind of questioning elected representatives should do. Public funds are meant for public work — if there’s a delay, officials should be asked to explain why. Kangana Ranaut

📍 Manali — Along with the charging points, shelves were installed for convenience. Unfortunately, people started using them to leave behind food waste and litter, turning the area into a garbage spot. Since basic civic sense remains a missing chapter in the country, the local administration had no option but to remove the shelves altogether. Now, stand and hold your phone while charging.

Civic sense dies every day in traffic. On the stretch from Manali to Atal Tunnel, long queues mean nothing to some. Maybe it’s time we stop ignoring— note plates, report violators. Same rule for all—break it, and deal with the consequences.

A video of two women allegedly caught stealing at Nagni Mata Temple is going viral on social media. An elderly man is seen hitting them with his shoes. But is such punishment justified? If someone is caught stealing, the matter should be reported to the police and dealt with through the law. Taking the law into one’s own hands is not the answer. 🙏🏼

⚠️ Not a movie scene, but a disturbing video from the recent firing incident in Kasol. The increasing frequency of reckless, violent, and criminal incidents in the hills cannot be ignored any longer. Places known for their peace, hospitality, and natural beauty are increasingly witnessing acts that have no place in a civilized society. Strict action and accountability are essential to ensure that the hills remain safe for both locals and responsible visitors.
