I am a first-time candidate and I’m days away from my first-ever general election. By God’s grace I won the primary 65% to 34% in March. I’ve been campaigning with a small but mighty team for 17 months straight. No breaks. No days off! Just nonstop pressure! God has preserved this campaign, my mind and this fight so I’m excited to see what awaits us on November 3! Want to fund the victory? Donate at

Does Indiana have a different president or something? When Illinois families drive across the border into Indiana and see cheaper gas, that is not an accident. That is policy. Illinois drivers are paying more at the pump because state leaders made decisions that added more taxes onto every gallon of gas. Under Governor Pritzker and the state legislature, Illinois doubled the base gas tax through Rebuild Illinois and tied future increases to inflation. That means when families are already struggling with groceries, utilities, rent, mortgages, and property taxes, the state keeps taking more at the pump too. Indiana has made different choices. They have taken steps to give drivers relief, including suspending certain gas taxes during high price periods. This is why elections matter beyond speeches and slogans. Policy shows up in your grocery bill. Policy shows up in your property tax bill. Policy shows up every time you fill your tank. Illinois families are not imagining the difference. They are living it every week. We do not need leaders who keep asking working families to absorb the cost of bad policy. We need accountability, affordability, and common sense.

I was just caught in a teen takeover at the Hyde Park Trader Joe’s and it’s STILL going on at this moment. Multiple fights and swarms in Hyde Park. This is unacceptable. This is dangerous. And Chicago residents should not have to wonder if a routine grocery trip will turn into chaos. Teen takeovers are not harmless. They put families, seniors, workers, shoppers, drivers, and young people themselves at risk. Mayor Brandon Johnson, Governor Pritzker, and local aldermen can no longer treat this like a public relations problem. This is a public safety crisis, and it requires real action. We need: ✅ A visible public safety plan for high-risk areas ✅ Coordination between CPD, state officials, businesses, and community leaders ✅ Consequences for organized lawlessness ✅ Support for parents and guardians ✅ Safe youth programming that does not excuse criminal behavior ✅ Protection for workers, shoppers, and residents Compassion without accountability is not leadership. Ignoring this will not make it go away. Chicago families deserve safety. Hyde Park deserves safety. Our young people deserve structure, discipline, opportunity, and accountability. I am calling on the mayor, the governor, and every elected official responsible for this city to act now. Enough excuses. Protect the people.

The man who had 8 molotov cocktails (2 of which were LITER sized) in his backpack is an ILLEGAL alien and was deemed an INADMISSABLE ALIEN in 2024. He had a map of the metra station. Governor JB Pritzker you LIED. You said you would deport dangerous illegals, yet here we are with a dangerous illegal released on pretrial release to his home in Oak Forest, IL. I’m one of the TWO Republican candidates who walked the Bud Billiken Parade which is one of Chicago’s LARGEST parades heading into election season. For context, EVERY major Democrat candidate was there. Every single one of them. I’m glad that our campaign reads the room and goes into places that many before us and many along side us refuse to go into. This is how you bring about change. Christian Maxwell for Congress is a very real movement of the people, by the people, for the people of CD1 from the South Loop to Bourbonnais.

Christian has outraised all past Republican nominees in CD1 in the last decade. Her campaign is catching fire and is projected to defeat the incumbent Democrat who’s held the seat since 2023. Donate and support by volunteering today. Link is in the profile.

I think I’ll just show this video to anyone wondering why this Black woman would choose the Republican Party. I came back from the kitchen to find my husband with his gear sprawled out on the couch. lol um do YOU think we’d fit in the Democratic Party? LOL This is why I say that we live this. It’s not some act or convenient way to become popular.

I raised $100,000 running for Congress as a political newcomer. No previous elected office. No decades-old political machine behind me. No massive campaign war chest when I started. Just a mom of four, entrepreneur, first-time candidate, and a growing group of people who believed this race was worth fighting for. When I started this journey, I had to learn campaigning while campaigning. I had to build the operation, earn trust, raise money, grow a volunteer base, win a Republican primary—and keep building for the general election. And somewhere along the way, we crossed $100,000 raised. That number means more to me because of how we did it. People gave $10. $25. $50. $100. Some gave much more. But every contribution represented someone saying, “Keep going.” For a newcomer candidate taking on an incumbent in a district people were accustomed to writing off, that matters. We didn’t wait for permission to become competitive. We built our way into the fight. And I’m incredibly grateful to every single person who helped us get here. Now we finish what we started. November 3. Let’s make history. 🇺🇸
