Trilokpuri area: Cruelty against a visually impaired and mentally disabled elderly Muslim woman New Delhi: An elderly Muslim woman was beaten and an attempt was made to rape her in East Delhi’s Trilokpuri area. This incident took place around midnight on Thursday in the jurisdiction of Mayur Vihar police station. According to local people, the woman was visually impaired and mentally disabled and had been living on the streets of the area for about 35 years. People in the area used to give her food and clothes. When the woman was resting outside a shop, a man came near her. He tried to rape her, and when the woman resisted, the accused attacked her with a brick, due to which she was seriously injured.
