A SHIP SINKS IN OCCUPIED CYPRUS, PEOPLE DIE. Within minutes it took on water and capsized, leaving at least seven people dead and dozens still missing. Survivors clung to an overturned hull while the wreck went down to the seabed a couple of hundreds of meters deep. The Joint Rescue Coordination Centre of the Republic of Cyprus, the only internationally recognised state on this island and the only lawful SAR authority for these waters, received the emergency and offered immediate help. President Christodoulides instructed contact with Turkey’s representative in occupied Cyprus Tufan Erhurman & co for every available Cypriot asset that could be used but instead accepting help, the occupying side’s answer was that they “do not need the assistance.” If you don’t know what the Cyprus problem is all about, this should enlighten you. Occupied Cyprus, a territory held by Turkey since the 1974 invasion is an illegal regime that Turkey alone recognises. The occupied coast where Ankara’s forces, not the government of the Republic of Cyprus, decide who is allowed to save lives and who’s not. Turkey doesn’t want to accept that the legitimate authorities of the island, an EU member state, have the right and the duty to act in a maritime disaster off Kyrenia which belongs to the Republic of Cyprus. It’s politics first for Turkey and human beings come second, that’s exactly how illegal occupation works. Mainstream media must stop laundering this by reporting that this happened in “northern Cyprus” or treat Erhurman’s illegal administration as a normal government, hiding the fact that the lawful search and rescue system of the island was blocked by the occupying power and its local representatives like himself. SPAIN IS BEING OVERRUN AND SANCHEZ OWNS THIS🚨 Today, thousands of migrants stormed the border into Ceuta from Morocco. This did not come out of nowhere, Pedro Sanchez’s government spent months pushing a massive regularisation scheme that was supposed to cover around 500,000 illegal migrants where over a million applied. Meanwhile to make the situation worse, temporary work permits have already been handed out to hundreds of thousands while applications are processed. The message the Sanchez government sent is clear, Spain will regularise large numbers of people who entered or stayed illegally. When a government signals that illegal presence can lead to papers, more people will obviously come, it’s not rocket science to figure it out. Sanchez and his ministers own the policy choices that created the incentives and the weakened deterrence. They own the repeated preference for regularisation and “integration” rhetoric over firm border control and rapid returns. They own the gap between talking about returns and the reality of overloaded facilities and uncontrolled crossings at Ceuta. Two things need to happen ASAP: ▪️Sanchez resigns, a government that promises pathways that function as magnets, then watches the border collapse under the resulting pressure, has lost the authority to continue ▪️New leadership must prioritise the deportation of every person who entered or remains illegally, starting with those who crossed today and those already in the system without legal basis. Borders that are not enforced stop being borders Spain is a sovereign country but sovereignty requires control of who enters and who stays. What happened in Ceuta today is the predictable result of policies that prioritised regularisation over enforcement. Responsibility sits with the government that designed and defended those policies.

In close cooperation with the EU, Christodoulides has initiated discussions to address the British sovereign bases of Akrotiri and Dhekelia, describing them as a “colonial consequence” & remnant and calling for an open, frank conversation with the UK government once the Middle East situation stabilizes.The EU stated it’s ready to assist Cyprus in these talks. This bold step toward reclaiming full sovereignty over our island is inspiring. CYPRUS FIRES CONTAINED🚨 We thank and appreciate all countries who rushed to help our brave firefighters and volunteers to fight the wildfires. Thank you Jordan, UK, Italy and Spain for the aerial support and Greece for the ground support. Our special thanks though goes to the Israeli Air Force for sending two C130s that dropped 34 tons of fire retardant chemicals which stopped the spread of the fire therefore saving the Troodos mountain range and of course containing it. The Cypriot authorities must now investigate and start arresting the culprits who caused the deaths of two pensioners and the destruction of 20 communities.

FINALLY, A WORLD LEADER SAID IT AT THE UN. THANK YOU PM NETANYAHU🚨 Yesterday at the UN General Assembly, PM Benjamin Netanyahu did what too many others have refused to do for 52 years. He called Erdogan exactly what he is, a tyrant, and said it out loud and clear, Turkey illegally occupies northern Cyprus which happens to be an EU member state. He also said Erdogan jails journalists and opposition leaders, hosts Hamas chiefs, denies the Armenian Genocide and regularly violates international law against Greece, a NATO ally. After five decades of occupation, displacement and silence, a major world leader stood at the UN podium and named the occupation for what it is. Cyprus should be grateful, not because one speech ends the occupation, but because the truth was spoken in the one room where the world is supposed to hear it, even though a bunch of moral cowards got up and left. Remember what was painted on the underwings and belly of the Jumbo jet? “GOOD LUCK BOKKE” In Cape Town yesterday was the same tradition, not a stunt cooked up for wows, views and clicks but to give the Bokke power and good luck but let’s see what these “critics” skipped: ▪️SA Civil Aviation Authority approved ▪️Three senior captains in each cockpit ▪️Planned altitude and speed of 150 knots planned ▪️Flight data was inside the approved limits ▪️Pilots are trained in some of the world’s harshest weather conditions, Cape southeaster winds, highveld thunderstorms, mountain waves and short African runways ▪️The 40ft clearance over the roof was tight and spectacular but not illegal and certainly without improvisation A packed stadium with fireworks doing their magic and two crews who executed a brief that takes planning most keyboard experts will never see is called skill, it’s also called pride. If your first instinct is panic instead of precision, you are not watching aviation, you are watching a camera angle which can be misleading.
