Was due to be extubated yesterday, but he's picked up another infection from the tube. He's taken the antibiotics in his stride, couldn't be cannulated after 7 attempts, so a mid line into his thigh & he's back on the mend. His resilience is incredible. He's so special 💙💙

My Rocco was 31 weeks gestation yesterday. Born at 22 weeks and he's come of his oxygen tube to cpap and not required any steroids, sedatives, nothing. He's calm, feeding and of course I couldn't wait to do the sound over on this video 😂😂

A day we once thought would never come. Rocco has been moved from a level 3 Nicu to a Level 2 and the words "when you go home" have been used. 104 days and on the final stretch. Still 4-5 weeks but what a journey he's been on. So proud 💙
