#PuntFactory Teach Tape 📝 I have said for YEARS - “Shoulders forward, arm relaxed.” Why do I say that? Putting your shoulders forward moves your hips back - think of EVERY movement you do in the weight room to become stronger… cleans, squats, box-jumps, deadlifts etc. THEY. ALL. MIMIC. THIS. MOTION. You are spending that much time under the bar to do what… stand tall & NOT translate onto the field? Shoulders forward = hips back = POWER Shoulders tall = hips underneath or in front of you = LESS HIP EXTENSION AND LESS POWER — Arm relaxed = leverage By keeping your drop arm relaxed you keep the ballin your wheelhouse - think of it as throwing yourself a fastball down the middle.
