The Carrot Top story just got even darker. TMZ obtained emails showing that the comedian, whose legal name is Scott Thompson, received a proposed $2 million global settlement only four days before he was hospitalized following a reported suicide attempt involving a suspected prescription-drug overdose. Brian Evans offered to end multiple legal disputes, have everyone drop their claims and keep the agreement private. He gave Thompson’s team until Wednesday afternoon to accept. Hours later, Thompson’s attorney contacted the court and accused Evans of running a “campaign of extortion,” alleging that he was demanding millions while threatening to place false and inflammatory material into the public record. Evans strongly denies wrongdoing. He says this was a legitimate settlement communication intended to resolve all the related cases—not blackmail. The emails reveal the extraordinary legal pressure surrounding Carrot Top in the days before his hospitalization. However, the accusations remain disputed, and there is no established evidence that the legal battle caused his reported suicide attempt.

The H3 Podcast may have just collapsed overnight. Hila Klein says Ethan admitted to an affair lasting more than six months and that the couple is now separating. Hours earlier, Ethan announced the show was going on indefinite hiatus. Now the entire H3 crew says it unanimously refuses to continue with Ethan involved or profiting. The show has not been formally cancelled—but Hila is gone, the crew has cut him off and the H3 everyone knew appears to be finished.

Theo Von’s new Netflix special should have been an easy victory. Instead, a savage Marc Maron roast resurfaced and exploded past ONE MILLION views. Maron imagines Theo giving Hitler the friendliest interview imaginable—turning Nazi meth use into folksy podcast banter and offering him an apology tour. Important catch: this is a 2025 HBO bit, not a new response from Maron, and Netflix is still promoting Theo. But the timing has dragged the entire “podcasters normalize extremists” war right back into the spotlight.

Gears Of War: E-Day was supposed to be the triumphant return of a legendary Xbox franchise. Instead, BurntPeanut and his friends absolutely SAVAGED the story, characters and bizarre creative decisions—and Asmongold made sure millions more people saw it. Some fans still love the combat and darker presentation, but the backlash over Mags Carter and the game’s direction is getting impossible to ignore. Xbox wanted a massive comeback. They got another culture-war firestorm.

McDonald’s is spending $8.5 BILLION trying to convince customers to come back—and Wall Street immediately punished them for it. Their plan includes redesigned restaurants, better food, employee training and even more AI handling things like drive-through orders. But one viral post explained the problem for free: McDonald’s removed the playgrounds, bright colors, staffed counters and everything that once made families actually want to visit. Parents didn’t just buy a burger. They bought 40 minutes of peace while their kids disappeared into a giant plastic tube. Now customers get a gray box, a touchscreen and increasingly expensive food. McDonald’s says upgraded PlayPlaces are included in the new plan, so apparently somebody finally noticed. Maybe they don’t need billions in AI and consultants. Maybe they just need cheaper food, better service—and the slide back.

A Six Flags rider was reportedly thrown from the Goliath roller coaster, struck other guests and fell beneath the ride. Police have identified the victim as 42-year-old Hassan Jihad Ibn Kariem, but investigators still have not explained how he came out of his seat. Six Flags has now shut down NINE similar coasters across six parks while authorities investigate. This story somehow just became even more terrifying.
