Sally Kirkland was uninhibited, sensual, everyone's best friend, and could out-talk anyone in Hollywood, where talking is an Olympic sport. My "formal" interview of her was, appropriately enough, in a bed, where she had to be told that nudity under the covers wasn't necessary (hardcore Actors Studio), but what I remember best is what she told me right after her close friend Lana Clarkson was murdered by Phil Spector: "This town destroys pretty women." She knew that and yet lived life with a wink and a smile and an amazing talent for strategic cleavage. The full interview is available free on the "Lost Drive-In" Patreon:

I hesitate to say this is the "final" Jamboree schedule but it's as close as I can get. Come party with us, October 6-8, at the West Wind Las Vegas Drive-in, where you can be in a movie, be part of the studio audience for #TheLastDriveIn, watch 3 world premieres, and celebrate the 70-year career of Roger Corman in the presence of the man himself.
