// It feels so stupid posting from an Ilya Rozanov RP account but I want as many people as possible to know his name. 16 years ago I went to a hardcore show and met Bohan Lueders. It was like meeting someone I had known in another life. Despite the distance, him being in chicago or literally anywhere on the planet with his band and me being in Canada, we texted almost everyday. For the better part of a decade he was my favorite human. Effortlessly funny, Kind, generous, endlessly talented, so true to himself and down to earth. Someone you could tell anything to and he would never judge you. He’d listen patiently and be there for you. I’m still in shock and it doesn’t feel real. How could it be? We had just texted about how long we had known each other. “I’d do anything for you” I don’t know what to do with myself in the face of this grief but the only thing I can think of doing is to just run full speed towards everything I’ve ever wanted in this life because I know that’s what he’d want for me. I’d do anything for you too Bo. Tell your friends you love them. Hug them and cherish them. Support them in any way you can. Be the first to apologize. Send the text you’ve been meaning to send for a long time. Double text. Triple text. Be annoying. Show that you care and that you love them. And be kind to each other on this hellscape of an app.
