After resigning from the BJP, K. Annamalai said, “It was a great conflict for me,whether I am a BJP person or a Tamilian. I had informed the party on 4 December 2025 that I intended to resign. Ranganna on Karnataka SIR The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) is not being conducted as per the ECI rules Most of the complaints and violations have been reported from Muslim wards BLOs in Muslim-dominated areas were collecting and filing forms in mosques and wedding halls instead of carrying out door-to-door verification as mandated by the ECI guidelines Muslims were being treated specially by some BLOs The Election Commission is completely inactive in Karnataka The Chief Electoral Officer of Karnataka is incompetent and spineless.
