My name is Ṣọlá Allyson. I am a Singer and Songwriter. I can say I am a Producer some of the times...😊 I am a trained Singer. Musicologist by erudition, Voice Major, Piano Minor. I sing predominantly in Yorùbá, my local language, for I believe this has been infused in my spirit "before now" and my soul expresses the nature of itself that way. Physical ears may be deaf to a strange language but the spirit which is vibrant and alive understands the essence of the message being passed. I am grateful that I found me. The me in the inside of me. I am forever grateful to ONÍMÌÍSÍ and ONÍÌMỌ́LẸ̀ for this beauty inside that I discovered and the courage to be it through all of my journey... I am a Woman who knows and revels in her nature of light, who refuses to inherit the silence of past light people. My journey has never been an easy one, but I am conscious of the light within me and I gently shine, bright, almost effortlessly, everywhere I go, in every shade and form. I have been battered and broken but I cannot be silenced. I cannot be shut up or off. Brightly I shine, for as long as I'm permitted to be here and in the hereafter... It just oozes. And even if I do not want to, it is no longer in my hands. The years when I dimmed my own light in ignorance of what I carry, it still found ways to shine. Ways I didn't know were there! Ojú mi l'ó là, tí mo fi mọ̀! And I guess that is why I am seen as "difficult" in quarters where "Women must listen". As much as I seek to be in the ways of anicent Women, I just am not able to absorb what does not carry full light, because my DNA is of full light which I have recognized, so I cannot submit to what is not light, fully. I speak the truth I know when I should and keep silent when necessary, applying wisdom in all that I do, INTENTIONAL with my being me, with zero profanities, leading other souls like me to GOD'S Light. Yes, my words can be deep, "too serious". Because I don't know any other way to be than thus. AUTHENTIC, gracefully, all the time. I will continue in my next post. To Louisiana G.S.V. and his fathers, mothers, brothers and sisters in the business of manipulating other souls into joining their Jesus business, this is for you. Once again, noone can bully me into joining their darkness that looks like light because indolent souls find comfort in it... Yes, I am human. It gets to me sometimes. Like now. Because of my own personal struggles. Which l will definitely outgrow and thereby break the code of a deeper deep in fulfilling purpose. BUT I can NEVER be dragged or manipulated into being a shallow entity. I do NOT seek to be with your kind of jesus. Leave me alone. Face your own journey. The One I know Would NEVER manipulate anyone into following Him. And the way I understand Him is the way I am being, as He SAID to do, and that light I shall ooze till I am permitted to be here. Pastor Mrs. Helen Oyegoke became 60 and I was "arranged" to be her surprise because she loves my ÌMỌ́LẸ̀ song and others... I had been in the hall since the beginning of the event but kept somewhere where the gèlès and fìlàs of people who know how to dress for party would "keep" me "in the cooler". 😁 The joy for me was the look on her face when I began the song. She was surprised in a speechless way that was loving and appreciative... I didn't know at that time because I needed to do the work and link Upways to be Used to stream light, calm and joy into the atmosphere. I was "away" basically. I only saw it later as I was watching the video... Everytime I have to do this, I feel so humbled, so honored, that at my voice and the use of my gift, souls and hearts receive light and strength, joy and hope... I am actually in constant humility that I can do this, like this exactly, and up to this point. I am confident in "THAT" Ìrànwọ́ to keep holding me... The people who put this together, may they be blessed oooo! They "flew" me in from a different part of this our world just to sing the songs she loves for her. She must be a very good person to them, because, the way they were going about it, she is someone they highly honor... The things people were saying about her. The testimony of her waiting time made me want to cry but I was there to work and I must look the part... And the way she and her husband looked at themselves when I sang Eji Òwúrọ̀! Ha! I wanted to do it WELL, To give it my best shot... The person I saw to play the role as the Ladylover was not available, and a lot had gone into the project.... So, as things of life generally, as pé the soldier that I am, I had to do what I MUST do, so, I looked inwards, connected Upways and called the things that then be not as though they were, and I received help, I did it, and very WELL! 😁 The Arts is in me already, I only express it the particular way I do, so I tapped into the "motherboard" of my intrinsic artistic nature, and I did it! I became A-list Actor l'ọ́wọ́ kan! 😄😄 I was in the spirit with it, joyfully, like "someone" was whispering to me what steps I should carry and how to move my body, so accurate that even the ìyáláàyá A-list Actor couldn't hold it but say something! 😄😄 Odunlade Adekola Thank you again and again! @akinalabifilms1 well done again! I was in Nigeria on Thursday, back to America the following Thursday, left for Halifax in Canada the next day Friday, back in America on Sunday. Yes. My kind. That's what I wanted to tell you. If you are awake within, you'll understand that it's not for boasting but for a rubbing in to encourage you as I'm made to do! You that you're "ẹni à bá tà" like I used to be called... You that "can never do well" like I used to be referred to... You that "not much" was expected of you "afteral" like it used to be for me... "Good for nothing, useless" you that are like the way I used to be seen... EVERYTHING going on in your life right now is working together! IF the eyes of your inside are open and you CHOOSE to stay through in the unchanging GODLY values as you build your spirit to GROW THROUGH it all and stay SENSITIVE to DIRECTIONS, you will see the ÒGO inside all of it! Every thing. Every time. Every experience. Every season. Every single THING. As long as you CHOOSE to be OPEN, you will SEE that all's in ÒGO! That helped me. It still does. That mindset. Sincerely speaking, I lack words to thank you all! My old school mind which is unrepentantly so is even thinking "thank you all" is not respectful enough, honestly. 🤦 It's like I should be responding to every comment and message one by one to really express how much I appreciate the kind and lifting words...🥹 THANK YOUUUUU!!! Like I said, they are lifting and many of them made me teary, in gratitude that I have this gift and being Used to use it this way! Exactly this way! This Man is LOVED!!! I was fighting back tears as his Wife and children were speaking about him... What a Man! When friends and family were saying their own ńkọ́! Ha. Mr. Femi Laoye is a Man's Man! And, no, not just because they had to say all they said, it was because all they said were true. How did I know? Because of the peculiarities of the things that were said... And because I see and hear deeper than what is shown and said... But one thing many of them said in common was that he had been saying it for many years that he wants ṢọláAllyson when he would be 50. So, his Wife and other "gangsters" ganged up to make it happen.😁 For many years. Hmmm... So, I can be in the minds of people like that? Well, I know sha, but hearing and seeing it makes me more GRATEFUL. The way my essence is being used and channeled... Humbling... At some point he was reminding me of some lines of my old songs that I momentarily forgot...😊 As I was watching this video, the way he shouted "no way" and later removed his cap made me smile heartily. Wait o! 🤫🤫 Ṣèbí they said that if somebody is living abroad the perron will be yellowing more more? Ha. I am not thinking it is true ooooo! Bìkọ́z, this my own skin has become like 2 shades browner since I've been in this ìlú èyìnbó oooo. 😁 Me and the other elegant fashionista that came through my Womb are thinking that maybe it's the water here or something. There is sun here but ṣèbí I came from another sun-land and it's not that I stay in the sun. Àbí what can make somebody to be browner in ìlú èyìnbó? Some of these "they said" things sef! They are not straight lines oooo! It can be different from situation to situation. Every gifted one who has ever held on to ancient values of truth has either been demonized or vilified. By exactly those who CLAIM to know the truth and be the only truth. Some are drowned in the crowd. Some flee from the crowd. Some distance themselves completely from the crowd. Depending on how they are able to hold on to what they have found... Look around. Reflect deep. With your own soul. Not vomiting what you ate from the leftovers of anyone you "submit under" or "look up to". Think. Look around. And you're now complaining? Is it not the children of yesterday when all this bashing began that are now the adults and pillars of today? You have no right to complain. This is the result of your deeds of yesteryears. The children saw it all We greatly inspire and influence them And the truth is there somewhere inside them But they see us They see what we don't even think that they see They know that being authentic "don't pay". They see the hard we have gone through over the years They hear what was said about us in corners of "power" So they choose to do what would pay Àbí who doesn't want their business to pay? Why are you complaining??? Take it like that! It is what you caused! And you will give account! Shallowness. Vainness. Profanities. Frivolities. But we have learnt to insert "Jesus" in all of that so we can all be comfortable. Comfort lies. The most heartbreaking part of it?
