That 8th goal from the Oilers is one of the most disrespectful things I have ever seen (just in terms of "stop stop he's already dead"). As the puck sloooooowly slid in you can see Lankinen's soul leave his body

NHL refs on their bullshit on day one, good times. Karlsson getting a slashing penalty is insane.

Schenn Crease Clearing Season is here

In one of their worst seasons, Canucks fans chanting "We want the Cup" after making it 2-0 for a rare home win, because if you can't laugh at it all, you just start crying. This is how we do. Frankie doesn't deserve this fan base.

That's twice now where Quinn Hughes has just sort of let up on a loose puck situation on the powerplay. Just doesn't look like he's enjoying things too much right now lol.

There will be a lot of talk about whether Kane meant to kick Zadorov or not on the bench hit. No way to truly know if it was intentional, lot's of flailing going on, but that leg comes down pretty dangerously either way

Allvin already moved away from a rebuild, it's a hybrid retool, which I assume means it can run on electricity

Commentary absolute ignores the huge hit from Tyler Myers lmao

"If I was here last year, I would have taken Elias and JT under my wing and made them realize we all have the same goal here. You have to refocus your efforts and really embrace a winning attitude where winning isn't hoped for, but expected as a base line."

So Sportsnet wants more money for this production value? Straight up cuts to a commercial mid game lmaoooo

It's the small things for me. Dead season, purely in tank mode, and Evander Kane casually skates towards a loose puck while Drew O'Connor picks himself up and dives right into the pile. I have all the time in the world for DOC, dude has been consistent with his effort all year.

Pettersson called for charging for doing what Kronwall did every game of his career

Spirited effort from the Canucks, but more importantly, one game closer to finishing out this season. Also Elias Pettersson remains must see TV when an empty net is present.

Karate Kid Garland

Pay that man his money.

Ray and Shorthouse have such good chemistry that they're breaking down who dropped the F bomb together. They need to be together for all Canucks games if we can't have Garrett.

PAUL COTTER WHY I OTTER, SOMEONE GIVE HIM ONE OF THOSE HARD WORKING VESTS

"ONE FUCKING JOB" caught on the hot mic lmfaooooooooo

Anyways, here's Brodeur and Roy getting walked while Hasek stones everyone

JT Miller getting chirped with EP40 name drop in his back swing, that locker room was truly a generational dysfunctional team lol, it needs a banner somewhere

Colorado and Edmonton going full EA Sports in the shootout

Elias Pettersson re-inventing himself as Scott Stevens wasn't on my Bingo card. Manny Hockey is pretty pretty pretty good.

Here is the audio of Wysh cautioning Canucks fans to not get too cocky lest everyone hate them again, like back in 2011. Let me state quite clearly that nobody in BC gives two shits what the rest of the league thinks of us.

THEY PLAYED THE GOLDENEYE PAUSE MUSIC, THEY DID THE THING

Entire end sequence. Hronek gets bodied, JT Miller plays a 50/50 puck and blows the zone, then comes back in and collapses really low, resulting in Bouchard having a ton of time and space, and then Silovs can't track the puck. Canucks choked hard on that shift.

Inject that Zeev Buium goal into my veins

The supercut of all the goals the Canucks scored at the end of the game, winning 6-5 after being down 5-2 with around a minute left. Insane.

Used live soundtrack, this makes it pop even more. Look, this is all we have right now.

Hail to our king John Garrett. It won't be the same without you. You brought a natural charm and charisma that is a much needed commodity in sports and I always looked forward to any game you were a part of calling.

The Canucks busted their asses to tie this game up. Fell just short but the way they defended the empty net is a top 5 entertaining moment of the season for me so far. That was fun.

Ref power tripping because he's in his feels cuz Quinn Hughes yelled about wanting a penalty call lol

OK so Chaos Giraffe hitting McDavid into the boards, then sticking him in the nuts, then staring down and shit talking him is objectively hilarious and my only highlight of this game

oh ok, it's ok if Dickinson "crossed the line a little bit" according to Hrudey, because he's showing the org he doesn't like losing, right right right, forget the Chytil injury, that's fine, what's important is the Chicago brass know how much Dickinson cares
