My name is George. I am the senior mouse catcher and I “work” at Stourbridge Junction railway station. *not all quotes are my own- but quoted with love

Poor Woolly George has been forcibly retired from his postbox topper following another act of vandalism. You’d think he’d be allowed a little rest and recuperation in the ticket office. But NO! The FC has already found him a job!

CUPCAKES? I PREFER MINE PRE-SQUASHED. 🧁🐈 I spotted a box of cupcakes and immediately identified a serious problem. The lid was far too flat and comfortable. Naturally, I sat on it. I believe this is what the FC is now referring to as “The Great Cupcake Incident.”

I was told I’d been given a doughnut. I would like to report a serious discrepancy between the description and the goods received. No chicken. No gravy. Not even edible. ⭐ 0/5 Would like to speak to the catering department.

A Senior Mouse Catcher should arrive for duty calmly, professionally and at a speed that suggests he is being paid by the metre. I’ll get there when I get there. POV: Your shift started five minutes ago, but you’ve got 109 Employee of the Month awards and therefore fear nobody

Throw back Thursday Four years ago, during a heatwave, I relocated my supervisory duties to the warm car park. The FC called it “slacking off.” I called it temperature-based operational repositioning. We agreed to disagree.

Clear the turning circle, please. I’m trying to create a mild inconvenience for everyone as I’ve got some very important sitting to do. Move along please… nothing to see here. I’m about to become the obstruction.

I don’t know why everyone gets so excited. I climb up. The office likes to demonstrate its vocal range by collectively shouting: “GET DOWN, GEORGE!” I stay up. It’s a game we all seem to enjoy. #CatsOfTwitter

Just a check up at the vets Now… I don’t wish to be dramatic… but I feel that term was used… quite loosely. There was… unexpected interaction… …and what I can only describe as… an overly familiar thermometer. I may also… become mysteriously unavailable at 17:50.
