Day2 SPOILER! Nice to finally see those purple zabuton fly like they did post-Covid but Kaiju wasn’t looking at all steady on his feet after that hard fought loss and kinboshi given to Zaru. He was using his tsukebito for some support on way back to changing room too..

Day15 SPOILER I admit it, I was rooting for Ao, but then I saw Ōnosato overcome with emotion during Kimi Ga Yo, Japan's national anthem, and I realized what a relief it is for him and for sumo to have a yokozuna who can deliver. Does sumo deliver?! Everbody say "hai!" 🤗

Day4 okay, SPOILER, I waited til morning my time to post this so I wouldn't be called a spoiler. Here is the OnoYasu extended pirouette. In slo-mo it looks like Ono waits to make sure Yasu is in before he exits 🤗. Prob shouldn't have a faves but, yeah, the last angle is my fave 🫣 #akibasho2026
