Tiny tank, BIG moment 🥹🦛 Beginning tomorrow (September 15), all guests visiting your Toronto Zoo can say hi to Maple, Kindia’s female pygmy hippo calf, from 10:00am – 2:00pm* daily. *Viewing times are subject to change depending on the needs of Kindia and her calf. While visiting, we encourage you to keep your voices low and give mom and calf plenty of space to help maintain a comfortable environment as Maple continues to explore her world alongside mom 💚 #TZTinyTank

Can you tell they're related? 🦛 Aunt Maple and her nephew Hugo at John Ball Zoo might have an unconventional family tree, but they share the same goofy energy 🧡 From your Toronto Zoo to our partners at John Ball Zoo, these two pygmy hippos are helping guests fall in love with their species while shining a light on their endangered wild counterparts. Every connection like this is an opportunity to inspire action for pygmy hippos and the West African forests they call home.
