🚨 WATCH: The alleged SMOKE BOMBER from Sean Feucht’s Montreal performance has just been criminally charged! An employee of Canada’s Department of National Defence accused of throwing smoke bombs inside a Montreal church is still employed by the federal government. Nearly a year after the incident during a Sean Feucht worship service, Gabriel Lepage is now facing a criminal mischief charge, and the response Rebel News received from his employer is raising even more questions. Nearly a year after two smoke bombs were thrown inside a Montreal church during a Christian worship service, a man identified by Rebel News is now officially facing a criminal charge. Gabriel Lepage has been charged with mischief under Section 430 of the Criminal Code in connection with the incident at Ministerios Restauración church during American Christian singer Sean Feucht’s Canadian tour. The charge against Lepage has not been proven in court. At the time, the City of Montreal had revoked the permit that would have allowed Feucht to perform outdoors. Pastor Bernaby Quevedo nevertheless decided to host the event inside his church, which was later hit with a $2,500 fine. During the service, protesters gathered outside. An individual then entered the church, lit two smoke bombs and threw them toward the stage before calmly leaving the building. Rebel News launched a campaign to identify the man captured on surveillance footage and eventually identified him as Gabriel Lepage, an employee of Canada’s Department of National Defence. When Rebel News later confronted Lepage outside his workplace near Montreal’s Longue-Pointe military base, several masked far-left activists appeared, and one of them physically assaulted me. Now that Lepage is officially facing a criminal charge, Rebel News asked National Defence whether he remains employed by the department and whether he is facing any administrative or disciplinary action. After nearly two weeks, National Defence responded: “We can confirm that the individual is employed by DND. Information relating to any administrative or disciplinary measures is considered personal information and must be protected in accordance with the privacy protection provisions under the Privacy Act.” In other words, National Defence confirms Lepage is still employed by the department, but refuses to disclose whether any disciplinary action has been taken. That leaves an obvious question: should a federal employee accused in connection with smoke bombs being thrown during a religious service continue working for an institution responsible for Canada’s national defence and security? And would this case have been treated the same way if another religious community had been targeted? Gabriel Lepage’s next court appearance is scheduled for September 14. Rebel News will continue following this case closely.

🚨 Is the French language in Washington’s crosshairs? Christine Fréchette confirms that Quebec’s French-language requirements were among the irritants raised by the United States during trade negotiations. “The presence of French on consumer devices […] or the availability of user guides in French” were among the issues raised by the Americans. Fréchette said this was a “red line that could not be crossed.”

🇨🇦 🇺🇸 NOW: Carney staffers stopped me from entering today’s press conference amid the ongoing U.S. trade war. Why is our Liberal prime minister afraid of independent journalists asking questions? The stakes are too high, and Canadians deserve real answers.

🚨'CIVIL WAR': UK Residents Warn Government Over Migrant Housing Residents in Thetford, England, are sounding the alarm over government plans to accommodate asylum seekers in former military sites and residential properties, warning that their quiet community could be pushed to the breaking point. Rebel News travelled to Thetford, England, as locals protested plans involving RAF Barnham, a former military site near the town. Residents say their concerns go far beyond the proposed camp, pointing to asylum-seeker accommodation already operating in Houses in Multiple Occupation, or HMOs, throughout the area. One woman said the prospect of additional single male migrants being housed nearby has fundamentally changed how safe she feels. “No, I would not. No, I would not,” she said when asked whether she would feel safe walking through Thetford at night. “I probably wouldn't feel safe in my own home if my husband wasn't at home.” Terry Curtis, a local resident, was even more explicit about what they fear could happen if the government refuses to listen. “I genuinely believe that, yeah, we're all doing the peaceful side. But long term, if the government don't listen, they're going to have a civil war in their hand,” one demonstrator warned. Charles Day, a retired civil servant and US air force veteran, who has lived in the UK for 57 years, argued the issue is being dismissed too easily as racism or extremism. “If you come to where I live and you said you wanted to come across my threshold, I'm going to defend my wife. And if my grandchild is there, I'm going to defend her,” he said. After the protest, we travelled to Thetford to visit one of the HMO's, which turned to be the scene of protest by the residents. In the area, we spoke confidentially with one of the residents who described what he believes life could become for women living close to migrant accommodation. “You're living like a prisoner in your own house,” he said, describing residents keeping their blinds closed out of fear of men looking through their windows.
