On what started as a completely normal day at the Animal Protective League in Springfield, weather enthusiast Ethan Corbin noticed a terrifying signature on the radar: a massive debris ball tracking directly over the animal shelter managed by his mother, Deana. Pushing through driving rain and downed power lines, they arrived at a scene of absolute devastation. Both roofs were tearing away, water was filling the upper floors, and more than 150 animals were trapped inside.

We’re at McClain’s RV Superstore in Kerrville, Texas and today is a special day. Thanks to your support, we’re purchasing RVs for some folks who lost everything in the recent floods. Last week, we headed straight to McClain’s RV Superstore in Kerrville, TX to secure safe housing for three families who lost everything in the flood. We’ve made our way out to Kansas City, Missouri over the past couple days after a tornado moved through Ottawa, Kansas just south of here. After speaking directly with emergency management on the ground, the good news is that damage in Ottawa appears to be limited, with most impacts to commercial buildings and only minimal damage to homes. With an active weather setup today and an enhanced risk stretching across much of the central U.S., we’ve decided to stage here in Kansas City so we can respond quickly if needed. We’ll be monitoring things closely throughout the evening. Be sure to tune into Ryan’s stream tonight (Ryan Hall, Y’all ) to stay updated and check out our view from Kansas City. We’re back at the Lake Township Volunteer Fire Department in Lake Village, which has become the central hub for tornado relief in the community. This morning we’ve been helping organize donations and assist families picking up supplies. Last night we purchased nearly $20,000 worth of generators, heaters, and propane tanks, and today we’ve begun distributing them to families dealing with cold temperatures and power outages. We are in Merrillville tonight purchasing heaters, propane, and generators for families impacted by the devastating tornado in the Lake Village area. Temperatures across northern Indiana have dropped into the low 30s, creating an extremely difficult situation for families who have already lost their homes and power. Our goal right now is simple: get heat into the hands of people who need it most. Over the next few days we will be distributing these supplies throughout the community to help displaced families stay warm. Our team is currently en route from our Kentucky warehouse to Wheeling and Pleasant Valley, West Virginia, areas devastated by catastrophic flash flooding this weekend. Our trucks are loaded with essential supplies like dehumidifiers, cleaning products, box fans, tools, tents, and more. We're working to bring immediate support to those affected. Last month, severe flooding devastated parts of Texas. Gigi was still in bed when her husband opened the door and found someone yelling that the river was rising fast. She stepped outside and dropped into three feet of water. By the time she got to her car, the water was above her knees, and her husband was back down the hill, screaming for her to go. Ten minutes later, their RV was floating away. Thanks to the Y’all Squad community, we gave Gigi and her husband $30,000 toward a new RV—a fresh start. "You people are amazing. God send."
