Not really sure you can hear the “boo’s” as the “screen goes black” here at Acrisure Stadium, but the boo’s were loud. Very loud. I was in players tunnel and could hear it but I’m not sure my phone could pick it up being that close to the screen. Steelers Now

Literally as the clock hit :00 of the Pitt Football v. NCStatefootball game, the crew of around 20 plus from the Acrisure Stadium grounds crews hit the playing surface to repair it and get it ready for tomorrow nights Pittsburgh Steelers game. They were cutting it, blowing it, raking it and putting new seed down as you can see in the video I just took before leaving the media room just now. This crew busts their butts and has busted their butts to make the playing surface playable each game for years. Keep in mind, there is a very important philosophy here you just keep in mind. IT’s LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO GROW GRASS IN THE NORTHEAST IN LATE OCTOBER AND THEN THE WINTER. It’s scientifically extremely hard to due. We learned about that in grade school. But this crew tries and tries hard and doesn’t deserve the backlash it gets from “fans”. Pitt is NOT going to get a new stadium any time soon. So, it’s really time to move on about the turf. It looks like this EVERY fall and winter for 25 years now. THE ONLY reason any fans know about this surface is because some media member made a big deal about it three weeks ago. I assure you, it’s been worse. Much worse. Time . To. Relax. Steelers Now

I give the Pittsburgh Steelers @_TJWatt all the credit in the world. This is the second time he did autographs up here in Latrobe. And It’s only day 3. Today he went from the beginning of the fan access all the way to the very end. Signing everything he could. Then, he went down on the field and signed more autographs for a special group that came in after camp was over. I actually left and he was still on the field talking and taking selfies with them.
