I remember the night I got the call I cried myself to sleep for days. I remember asking God "Is music really where I'm supposed to be? Do I belong here?" and I just kept hearing him tell me over and over again "I'm not done with you yet." I didn't know what that meant but I knew He wouldn't lead me astray. Before I knew I was going be on BEYONCÉ’s album my husband and I were talking about all of this and he decided to just get out the camera and roll. While this serves as an update this also serves as my testimony and a way to hopefully encourage you to keep going because you never know what's right around the corner.

On April 26th a new chapter begins. The past few years have been a whirlwind. I've grown a lot as a human and an artist. I've done a lot of healing behind the scenes and now feels like the time to share that journey with you. For a long time, I avoided talking about some of the hard stuff. But I hit a really low point last year and felt like my future was out of my hands. "I Ain't A Cowgirl" was the first time I allowed myself to really feel those emotions. To feel the sadness. Feel the pain. Now, I get to tell my truth in the most raw and authentic way and this song is just the beginning. Thank you Cameron Bedell David DeVaul and #JoeFox for writing this one with me.
