Today the Tigers joined Major League Baseball in the fight against ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. The Tigers honor those impacted by ALS and presented a lifelong Tigers fan with a custom Tigers-branded Permobile wheelchair.

Ahead of #LouGehrigDay, the Tigers hosted a special gameday experience for members of the ALS community. Over 400 individuals gathered at Comerica Park through four organizations: ALS of Michigan, ALS Association MI, I AM ALS and Muscular Dystrophy Association.
