Timothée Chalamet speaks on how French and American cultures have influenced his personality in a new interview: "You see, my father is French, so I have my French side, which is intellectual, that knows how to listen well, that knows how to make fun of itself. But then I have my American side without… how do you say, embarrassment? Without shame, without being self-conscious about my ambition. In the United States we have a lot of social problems, especially right now. But what I was given culturally when I was growing up in New York—the hip-hop, the movies I watched, the rappers, Leonardo DiCaprio—it made me dream. And now, I’m living my dream."

Timothée Chalamet reveals he watches house tours and walking videos before going to sleep: "My comfort is watching house tours of the Cotswolds or little 4K walking videos. One of my castmates on Dune would always roast me because she's like 'why do you watch 4K walking videos through cities and things?' I love that."
