Small update on Project Goblin! Today I've added level transitions to the game. Being able to split the world into smaller areas will allow me to make it as big as I want. Really looking forward to getting to that part!

#PitchYaGame Project Goblin is a mix of the adventure style of Zelda with the combat style and physics of Dragon's Dogma. Explore dangerous places and defeat fearsome enemies in an epic adventure game!

Will be spending the weeked outside. No updates on Project Goblin for a few days, so have a random gameplay clip instead! I tried catching that harpy during her dive attack but failed lol.😅

Been working today on a screen effect for when you deal the killing blow to a boss, trying to go for something both cool looking and satisfying. What do you think? #gamedev

Worried about players being able to softlock themselves by saving the game when they really shouldn't, I've decided to remove the "save anywhere" feature and have replaced it with save points. Still not 100% sure on this, so feedback welcome! #gamedev #indiegame

Today I added elements that can hurt both the player and the enemies, with different damage types and even adding status effects. #gamedev This can be used for big fires like in the video, but also traps like spike walls, hanging axes or spinning blade posts.

Dialogue system has been expanded! NPCs can now move their eyes and mouth as they talk, perform animations and point the camera towards other places.

Stairs and ladders are fine, but the proper adventurer should be able to overcome any obstacle! Game has a climbing mechanic just like in Dragon's Dogma or Thief. Hopefully this will allow me to add a lot of verticality to the level design! #indiedev #indiegame

Wow, got a lot of new followers today. Thanks to everyone, new and old!😄 To celebrate, I want to share the new feature I'm working on: grabbing and throwing small enemies! Still kinda jank but I'm already liking how it's turning out. #indiegame #indiedev
