Scrap toll increases on the M50. The M50 bridges cost £53 to build. The PPP, covered the cost of the bridges in 1 year of tolls. They collected tolls for years afterwards and then sold the roads to the state for €600m The government collected over €2billion in tolls since.

Sinn Féin voted against their own Cost of Living amendment in the Dáil this week. It took Aontú to explain their mistake and save their blushes.

The government will make €1.7bn on fuel VAT this year. This is €238,000,000 MORE than last year. All in a cost of living crisis. And yet they aim to increase fuel prices on the; 1st of Sept 1st of Oct 6th Oct and The 1st of Nov this year.

I have spoken to the protesters today. They are willing to allow 10 loads of fuel out of Whitegate today for emergency services. This could increase tomorrow if there are positive results from the talks today. The government must engage.

Aontú has written to the leaders of the other opposition parties calling for a joint motion of no confidence in the government.

A semi state company, the ESB, who made €650m profit last year, Is putting up the cost of electricity. This is despite Ireland having the 2nd most expensive electricity prices in the world.

The price and petrol and distance are nearly as high now as when the government cut excise. Builders, contractors, farmers, truck drivers cannot take it anymore. Cut Carbon tax now.

Live cattle exports are worth nearly €500m to Irish farmers every year. Brittany Ferries are ending their service threatening the whole sector. They use ports owned by Irish citizens yet prevent Irish citizens use of their ships for a legal EU regulated sector. This is wrong.

Is the government going to tell Gardaí to put on riot gear, helmets and use batons against school bus drivers, farmers? This government is escalating the situation rather than simply talking to the protesters. Talk to the protesters now.

No one wants to see our roads blocked. The solution is that the minister phones the reps of this campaign and organises a meeting. If he does that, I understand these roads will be immediately clear.

The average price of a house in Dublin is now €500,000. You need a wage of €142,000 to be legally granted a mortgage for this. This is a scandal.

There were 10,850 abortions in Ireland last year. The highest ever. However, many mothers didn't go through with an abortion because of the three day reflection period. The Soc Dems want to get rid of the reflection period.

Labour introduced a Bill on Trans health care today that would do damage to the health and well-being of children. Their bill replaces science with out of date ideology. Aontú was the only party that opposed this Bill.

The government have charged you €2.2bn on M50 tolls since 2008. It has been paid for 31 times over and is simply a tax on workers who need to commute. We told them today this needs to end. #AontúAccountability
