I’ve been married for 21 years to the incredible Lisa Bilyeu , (happy anniversary, Baby!! Love you!), and our marriage is BY FAR the best investment I’ve ever made in my success and mental health. My marriage is also the thing I am most proud and protective of. As you can imagine, over 21 years of being a hyper aggressive entrepreneur I’ve seen my share of difficult times, but even at my lowest lows I comforted myself by knowing that as long as I have my wife, I’m good. So to honor my marriage and hopefully help you supercharge yours, here’s a new variation on my 9 rules for a healthy marriage that I’ve put together over two decades of facing the reality that Love is not enough to make a marriage work: 1. Have sex often 2. Communicate obsessively 3. Don’t trust your emotions 4. Confess your insecurities when fighting 5. Never weaponize your partner's insecurities against them 6. Go to bed angry (not a typo) 7. Broadcast and receive Love always 8. See the best in your partner 9. Don’t share blankets
