This is exactly why I cautioned people NOT to be driving the I-90 (NYS Thruway) between Buffalo and Erie. Oh well, hope they have plenty of gas, plenty of juice in their iPhones and food and water if necessary. Hopefully, this gets cleared up soon. The Weather Channel

In all my years living up here in Buffalo, I don't think I've ever seen it this bad along the Lakeshore. We've had three hours of 80+ mph gusts here and with the temperature dropping, very heavy freezing spray is accumulating on all of the trees. Lots of damage.
