In my opinion, Tom Cruise's acting in Top Gun: Maverick or the Mission: Impossible series is by no means weaker than what he showed in Magnolia or Jerry Maguire. Miles Teller is right. the insane amount of skill and effort he puts into those action movies is part of the performance itself, yet awards voters never seem to give him credit for it.

Those words were like lightning to me, and I had this feeling that he might get my film the best. So I used my courage and reached out to see if he would be willing to do this.” There’s a Korean saying, "The brave one wins the beauty."
