If the Brosnan Bond era has an overall theme, it's villains' personal narratives and the perception of truth in a world increasingly obfuscated by technology I'm not sure contemporary audiences fully appreciated its relevance but it's why the era still holds up so well for me!

Throughout The Man with the Golden Gun, John Barry gives Scaramanga a menacing, low piano theme (the "his eye may be..." part of the title song) But in the climactic fun house sequence, it's now the Bond theme being played on the low piano - with Scaramanga the one being hunted

John Barry's score for Moonraker's pretitles skydive partly went unused - here it is restored using the recent La La Land soundtrack release Not sure if I prefer it to the edit they went with, though I do love the Bond Theme flourish as he accelerates after the pilot!
