This will most likely cause brutal shortages of wheat, rice, fertilizer and cooking oil. There's no way nitrogen fertilizer can be exported now until next year. The IEA says the SOH will remain closed until 2027. 50% of world’s Sulfur comes through the SOH. Sulfur is used to make Copper and Nickel. Around 5 million to 5.5 million metric tons of primary aluminum pass through annually. Gulf countries were supposed to have a meeting with Iran about this catastrophe.
