Boomer Yacht Rock Party The wife and I attended a Yacht Rock Party and a beautiful estate in NJ. @MorganBerly Lots folks here from the Financial Services industry. I had a few casual conversations on business issues and am reminded of the old management consulting adage: “I don’t have a solution, if you don’t have a problem.” Acting outside of solving a problem is pursuing an opportunity. Opportunity algebra is very different than problem solving algebra. There are many opportunities, more than you can pursue, and the pursuits are optional. Problems however have fewer viable solutions and you are almost compelled to act. Early Bitcoin adopters see Bitcoin as both an opportunity and a solution to endless fiat debasement and central control of money. Most people simply do not see the problem that Bitcoiners see and they question the opportunity of a Bitcoin allocation when they see fantastic returns in tech and AI. One day this will change. And when it does expect “normies” to see Bitcoin as a solution to their problem. When? Not tomorrow, but soon enough in my opinion. I look forward to the Boomer jokes in the comments. Palm Beach Update: Bitcoin Still Isn’t Dinner-Table Conversation Quick field report from Palm Beach. We had lunch today with a friend here who is a fellow Bitcoiner, and I was paying attention to something specific: What are people in an affluent community actually talking about social, and where does Bitcoin sit inside that conversation? My honest takeaway: Bitcoin still isn’t part of normal conversation. Not with average people. And not even with a lot of highly affluent people who have plenty of disposable income and investable assets. That doesn’t mean they “hate it.” It doesn’t mean they “don’t know it exists.” It means it’s still not socially normalized. And that matters. Because until Bitcoin becomes something people can talk about casually, the same way they talk about real estate, stocks, rates, taxes, or the market. I don’t think we’re at full adoption. We might still get strong price appreciation in 2026. Flows can move price long before society catches up. But full potential comes when Bitcoin becomes common enough that it doesn’t feel like a niche topic or a personality trait. So consider this a single data point, my data point. Not a definitive statement about the entire world. But it reinforces my thesis: Bitcoin doesn’t reach its full potential until broader society adopts it, not just early adopters and Bitcoin Twitter. One last thought: Talk to people. Listen closely. Compare notes. Build your own view. And if the moment is right, maybe drop a little orange pill. Nothing aggressive. No sermon. Just a calm question: “Do you own any?” That question alone tells you where we really are.

Bitcoin Alpha 2025 – Final Reflections Huge thanks to Fred Krueger, Ben Sigman, and the entire volunteer crew, especially my amazing wife Berly Young for putting on an outstanding conference. It was a weekend full of sharp ideas, real conversations, and meaningful connections with old friends and new faces across the Bitcoin community. Over the next few days and weeks, I expect we’ll be unpacking a lot of what was shared here on Spaces as there’s plenty to dive into. But the biggest open question remains… What exactly are Fred and Ben planning to do with that Great White Shark?

Palm Beach Update: Pit Stop in Jupiter We had lunch at The Colony which is a famous hotel in the heart of Palm Beach. The Swifty’s brunch is an iconic poolside soiree for great people watching and $38 cheeseburgers. Afterwards we headed up to Jupiter, FL to visit some family and stopped in at The Square Grouper - one of my favorite places to grab a drink on the water. Anyway - the theme of the trip remains consistent - people are living their lives and there are no visible signs of Bitcoin in the culture. Granted, I am in some expensive zip codes for this trip, but these are the people with the money to invest. Tonight we are having dinner with friends in West Palm Beach. Will gather more data points on awareness of Bitcoin in the market.

Gobble Gobble Road Trip #6 Berly are here in NYC having dinner with Fred Krueger Fred Krueger and his wife. Great fun and glad to connect in person. I hope everyone had a Great Thanksgiving with friends and family. Both Fred and I are bullish on BTC in the coming week and year end. Most of our conversation tonight was on AI or topics with the wives. Looking forward to a great end of year and 2026.
