I had no idea about this Patrick Clancy ran the Boston Marathon about 15 months after the deaths of his three children Cora, Dawson, and Callan. He ran with the Miles for Miracles team supporting Boston Children’s Hospital, where his youngest son had been treated, and raised more than $72,000 for families in need. He dedicated the race to their memory, wearing Cora’s hair bow plus an armband and bracelet for Dawson and Callan. The people attacking this man need help.

I remember exactly where I was when I learned Charlie Kirk had been shot. I was sitting in my daughter’s room, watching my three kids play with their toys, when I opened X and the first two posts said “pray for Charlie right now.” I panicked. I didn’t know what happened. Then I saw the videos, and my heart sank to the floor. Time stood still. I prayed and prayed, hoping there was still a chance. I took my daughter to ballet class, dropped her off, and sat in the parking lot waiting for news. Then President Trump posted the official report. Charlie Kirk had passed away. Everything stopped. A man with a heart for people, for Jesus, for the world — killed on camera, doing exactly what he loved. And then, after the world knew he was gone, something sacred happened. People gathered in a stadium — a room full of worship, lifting their voices to honor him. I wasn’t in that room, but I watched it unfold, and it felt monumental. Not just for Charlie, but for the church and everything he stood for. Charlie Kirk was more than a man. He was called by God for such a time as this to make a difference in the world — and that’s exactly what he did. September 10th is forever changed as the day they took away one of the only men who made a massive difference in this world. For Charlie ❤️ We miss you!
