Péter Magyar gave the press a tour of propaganda minister Antal Rogán's newly renovated, and now abandoned headquarters in Buda Castle. Just look at this luxury mansion, complete with a cigar room for prominent guests. All this in one of the poorest countries of the EU.

Extraordinary statement by Serbian VOA head Lt. Colonel Đuro Jovanić accusing president Aleksandar Vučić and state leaders of "being sceptical" about their earlier reports on plans for a pipeline sabotage, and denying in strong words allegations of involvement to frame Ukraine.

This is why Hungarians voted for Péter Magyar. Recently a big, Hungarian-owned meatpacking company threatened that if Tisza's restriction on migrant workforce is introduced they might not build their new plant in Northeastern Hungary. This was the prime minister's answer:

Péter Magyar on Viktor Orbán: "he opposed mass migration, while Western politicians were lying to their people about incoming brain surgeons, and the common people in the West will not forget that."

Prime minister Magyar: due to the heatwave in Hungary, there should be no shopping centre, restaurant - no matter how flashy - that bars homeless people from going in to cool off or wash.

Well, this was a bit awkward for the German Chancellor. Friedrich Merz did not manage to get Magyar to silently nod to a suggestion that talks on military support for Ukraine can now open with the new Hungarian government. Watch Magyar's quick response here:

Magyar arrived to preparatory talks for the inaugural session of parliament. He met with his former uni best friend, Fidesz cabinet minister Gergely Gulyás (glasses, red tie) . They shook hands but Gulyas immediately moved on as Magyar looks behind him in a bit of a surprise. Drama!

Tisza leader Péter Magyar arrived to presidential palace in Buda Castle to commence talks with head of state Tamás Sulyok about transition. With him is MP elect from Budapest 2, György Velkey, who comes accross as sort of personal assistant. Magyar confirmed that he expect Sulyok to resign soon.

Magyar's new cabinet minister, Bálint Ruff had this to say on election night, before leaving media for politics. He is not going to make any friends from Hungary's outgoing Fidesz regime, in fact he is bound to unleash hell on former leaders, propagandists and nachalniks.

"-Who are you waiting for? -Orbán - Yeah tell him to visit me later" Belgian prime minister Bart de Wever told Flemish journalists in Brussels today - from the balcony, before Santa appears there. PM de Wever is in the EU's crosshairs now, for refusing to let them use frozen Russian assets.
