New culture in the Hungarian parliament: Speaker and Tisza MP Ágnes Forsthoffer switched Magyar's mic off yesterday. Mi Hazánk MP Előd Novák asked PM Magyar about problematic Fidesz regulations being made into legislation under Tisza. Magyar shortly answered then started to angrily address and earlier intervention by Fidesz MP Barbara Hegedűs on whether his campaign was using a foster care child for political messages. The Speaker intervened, pointing out that his reply was not directly related to Novák's question. Magyar later said the Speaker's act was unfair as "members of government can use their time to address any issue" they see fit. Speaker Forsthoffer maintains that she was following House rules, and would not make an exemption for the prime minsiter. This would have been unimaginable with Orbán and László Kövér in previous parliaments.
