“We made a lot people in Chile happy” - Yoongi (Burn the Stage episode 3) BTS is set to return to Chile after nine years. Last time they were in Chile was during the wings tour in 2017. They gave everything to the Army there to the point that Jungkook nearly passed out and collapsed backstage. You can see the joy and happiness in Army’s faces. Now their return is in jeopardy. The article states this is “The Return of the K-pop Kings.” My thoughts are BTS is solidifying their place in Korean history. This is the king’s road where the king could communicate directly to people. This event for BTS is historic and truly epic. It is more than just a concert. It’s going to be a cultural event for Korea. That area is really a place where the modern meets history, past meet present. The palace and this whole area is in the midst of a metropolitan & contemporary city. It ties together history to the present to the future. One thing that drew me in when becoming Army is their love story. I saw how they loved & communicated & bonded w/ eo. I couldn’t believe such a healthy love existed. I don’t think we understand this love in its truest sense; step back & see these 7 men in context of the world.💜
