Two young French Catholics decided to make a very literal statement about the Christian heritage of France 🇫🇷✝️ Wearing full medieval-style armor, they hiked through the south of France carrying a large wooden Cross they had built themselves, with the goal of bringing it to an iconic medieval castle and placing it there as a public symbol of faith. They explained to me in private that they wanted to show that Christian France is still alive, and that there remains a younger generation willing to identify openly with the faith, its history and the civilization it helped build. France may be far more secular today than it once was, but its Christian roots are still everywhere: in its cathedrals, monasteries, pilgrimage routes, saints, monuments and history. And apparently, in two young men willing to hike in plate armor carrying a Cross up to a medieval castle. Christian France is alive.

Neal McDonough, a devout Catholic and father of five, famously refused to perform sex scenes or kiss on camera out of deep respect for his wife. This principled stance came at a high cost: in 2010, he was fired from the ABC show Scoundrels, lost millions of dollars, and was effectively blacklisted by Hollywood. While the industry labeled him a "religious fanatic," McDonough stood firm, asserting, "I won't kiss any other woman because these lips are meant for one woman." Ultimately, he managed to revitalize his career without selling his soul viewing his success as a testament to standing by his Christian faith.

Actor Pietro Sarubbi, who played Barabbas in the film The Passion of the Christ, was an atheist before this scene. He mentioned: 'When he looked into my eyes, his eyes had no hatred or resentment, only mercy and love.' According to him, he no longer saw Jim, but Jesus himself."

Mel Gibson on his new series about the Siege of Malta: "It’s an incredible story of defiance, faith, and hope against all odds. The fate of Europe was on the line. These guys weren't just soldiers; they were driven by something much deeper than just national pride." "700 knights defended Malta against an onslaught from the Turks. Suleiman sent 40,000 men and ships and, wow, the knights won. They were the defenders of Christendom. They were the ones who stood in the way and said, 'No further.'"
