Two weeks ago I warned the end of August gets loud. Congrats, we have arrived. $SPY is fighting the 21 day EMA this morning and there is not a single long gamma floor under this market. If the EMA gives, $760 on $SPY and $700 on $QQQ are the two spots that decide everything into month end. The dealers already scheduled this week. Most people just never look at the schedule. The pocket closed ON THE DATE. $SPY looks like it has a small pocket to the end of week but it's very thin and the bigger picture shows the market could lead sideways / lower into the middle of the month, with a leg higher into quarter end. We were supposed to make new ATH's this week, if we don't it is quite disappointing how small the upside move was. Here is the full data read that you don't want to miss below🧵
