NO defensive players wants to deal with that in the open field! Love the fact that we are showcasing him now. His presence alone creates problems for defenses. #HereWeGo

Oh man, watching this film is like pouring a bag of salt on a big ass wound. The level of ineptitude. Defense just gives up a long drive and the offense’s first play in response is a screen pass to Jonnu. Hate the play call but it was blocked perfectly. Isaac and Dylan both have leverage for Jonnu to get out on the edge. Instead he runs straight into the defender. 81 hurt us much more than he helped.

We ran the ball pretty good yesterday but there was more hay to be had. Gainwell has been a godsend for this team and offense. All he does is produce, but he missed one here on the first run play of the game. This is an example of how an OL can block something up as intended, and it still not get the yardage it should, due to timing and patience. It got better as the game went on. Importance of sticking with the run…especially in December/January. #HereWeGo

Arthur Smith in his old school bag! “Castoff“ Connor Heyward in at fullback. Weakside ISO blocking. We called this play 35 BOB. BOB=Back on Backers. Dan Krieder/Rosie Nix were great at this. Connor is showing he is too. I LOVE this play. Chub inducing. Love the patience by Gainwell. #HereWeGo
