Two of the sketchiest bridges I've crossed in all my travels. The Cairo Mississippi Bridge (built in 1929) and Cairo Ohio Bridge (built in 1938) on US Hwy 60. This video is from the Cairo Ohio Bridge. It's quite narrow and looks terrible. A rusted mess. I feel bad for folks who have to use these bridges on the regular. This is why people get pissed. You see this while billions and billions of dollars are sent overseas. 1/2

Sad news to hear about Brian Wilson. I grew up listening to Beach Boys and will always love their music. Just think about how much joy he and the Beach Boys brought into people's lives with their good vibes. RIP 🙏 Don't Worry Baby (1964) Listen to that beautiful sound.

Yesterday, I posted about all the illegal campers (homeless) just outside of Bend, Oregon who have completely trashed the place. They are on USFS land. I came across a story today where a hiker/backpacker was criminally charged for camping outside the camp boundaries at Grand Canyon National Park by about 200 yards. It was an honest mistake, and this was also an extreme situation where his friend who was hiking with him had become extremely sick during the trip. They wanted to put him in jail for 6 months and give him a $5000 fine. Anyway, here's his story.
