Two hours before Kick off last night, Boca v Palmeiras, we was right in the middle of the ultras here and soon attracted attention ( there was 10 of us) I think basically we was standing in a spot where lads stand week in week out. we was asked to leave and headed to the back where there was a number of scraps going on and a crush. It was moody but fascinating in equal measures. I'm 57 and didn't really see anyone on that terrace my age which also drew attention. Boca / River on Sunday...I think i'll go in the seats for that one

Happy 65th birthday to our mate Mono Stephen Monaghan The King Of The Kop. One of the original pioneers of this thing that is called casual in some parts. Anyone who knows him knows how much of a gentleman he is. Never heard him say a bad word about anyone. Happy Birthday Ste!

Great Homer St Liverpool 1972 right opposite where Transalpino now stands. My arl mate Tommy Keegan wearing the Leeds scarf. Boot boys would 'collect' scarves from visiting fans back then as a badge of honour. Our kid who was a 12 year old skin back then told me the tangerine Blackpool scarf was a well sought after item.

The city of Liverpool is a melting pot with a wide mixture of cultures, creeds and varying heritage living together under one proud tag, Scousers. This city has stood together against racisim, injustice, war and pandemics. We will continue to repel those who mean us ill and welcome those who wish us well….. this is our unity like no other. *Disclaimer* derby day not included.

With Everton due to leave Goodison Road next year lots of people are getting nostalgic about the great days watching Everton at 'The Grand Old Lady' This design evokes memories of a time when match day was an excuse to meet up with your mates before the game was taken over by big business.
