Vivek paused the town hall to go outside and invite the protestor in to let him speak. Gave him the mic. Surprisingly they ended up agreeing more than either of them expected.

Important question: WHY are DHS law enforcement surging to Minneapolis and other sanctuary cities? It’s because Minnesota law enforcement won’t let us in their jails—Walz has released more than 470 criminal illegal aliens from Minnesota’s jails BACK onto the streets. That includes murderers, kidnappers and child pedophiles. That means DHS has to find them and apprehend them in the streets WITHOUT the help of local law enforcement. Locals can’t answer calls for backup when our law enforcement are attacked, assaulted + obstructed. This is dangerous for our officers and the community. There are currently 1,360 violent criminal illegal aliens in Minnesota’s custody. These criminals could very well be put back on the streets. If Walz and Frey would stop these dumb, dangerous policies the public and our law enforcement would be a lot safer.

At the Ventura, California marijuana facility, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and CBP law enforcement rescued 8 unaccompanied migrant children from what looks like exploitation, violation of child labor laws and potentially human trafficking or smuggling. Yet, Gavin Newsom continues to demonize and attack the law enforcement officers who bravely rescued these children.

This latest footage corroborates what DHS has stated all along. This individual was impeding law enforcement and weaponized her vehicle against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. The officer dutifully acted in self-defense. The American people can watch this video with their own eyes and judge for themselves.

The facts of what happened in Minneapolis on Jan 7 matter: at 10:25 AM CT the individual in question was using her vehicle to block-in law enforcement officers and obstruct lawful operations—a felony. Throughout the course of the morning, the individual and her partner had been stalking, harassing and impeding law enforcement. ICE law enforcement approached the individual in question and gave repeated lawful commands to stop obstructing operations and then ordered her out of her vehicle for arrest. She refused to comply. She then proceeded to weaponize her vehicle, a deadly weapon, and hit a federal law enforcement officer. The ICE officer, fearing for his life, the lives of his fellow law enforcement, and the safety of the public, fired defensive shots. Peaceful protest is a sacred First Amendment right. This was not that. If you obstruct law enforcement operations, ignore lawful commands, and use a deadly weapon to kill or cause bodily harm to a federal law enforcement office there are dangerous, and in this case deadly, consequences. This was entirely preventable.

Our ICE enforcement officers are facing a 413% increase in assaults against them. And we have seen, in recent days, their family members being doxxed and targeted, as well. The MA district judge’s ruling is deranged. We deported convicted murderers, child rapists, an individual who raped a mentally & physically disabled person.
